Dangers of the wireless cell phone, wi-fi and emf age Part 1
http://www.electropollution.org/
World-renowned Epidemiologist Dr. George Carlo provided a high impact presentation that exposed the dangers of living in the wireless age in a way that everyone could understand. As the chief scientist of the world’s largest research effort into wireless safety, the Safe Wireless Initiative (SWI), he discussed the effects of electromagnetic radiation, specifically Information Carrying Radio Waves (IRCWs) and how they negatively affect the body’s ability to function and repair damage affecting our cells. This is great information about how emf effects our health.

I’m an IT …
I’m an IT consultant in the UK, my clients include Asda/Wallmart. I will no longer install wi-fi routers anywhere because of the growing evidence of risk to health. I now hear that cordless phones can be even more harmful to health than wi-fi.
There is plenty of info out there. For example, Google “Wi-Fi: Children at risk from electronic smog”
My philosophy now is to use Mains Lans and ethernet cables. I’ve also switched to an older style-wired phone. Why risk your health for wire-LESS

You don’t have to ” …
You don’t have to “guess” whether I know what I’m talking about — you can find out for yourself by reading a biology textbook.
And while you’re at it, can you find some peer-reviewed scientific data that supports Carlo’s claims about EMF effects on cells? Thanks!

So as if that means …
So as if that means anything at all… you could say the same thing about your dad smoking like he currently smokes and HE DOESNT HAVE CANCER.
Fast forward 20 years when emphysema and lung cancer have hit and then your logic totally flys out the f–king window. Your shortsightedness is truly epic!

The only idiot here …
The only idiot here is you. What are you qualifications besides being an internet retard?
Quit sucking big telecoms dick and being such a apologist for the mobile phone industry. What do you know about the subject… a whole lot of nothing to jack is my guess.

Sad thing is, this …
Sad thing is, this guy could have constructed a more plausible story simply by stating that the pain signal is carried out by action potentials along the nerve membrane: the rapid depolarization of the axon caused by the opening of ion channels. Since that IS an electrical phenomenon, he could have actually made a more plausible case for EMF interfering with the nervous system.
But he didn’t know this simple textbook fact, and neither did his audience. I don’t know who to be more ashamed for.

Signaling molecules …
Signaling molecules are CHEMICAL signals, not electrical, you ignoramus. And chemical signals sure as don’t travel at the “speed of light” like this bozo claims.
I actually had a more lengthy response typed up after that, but there’s only so much I can do to compensate for your staggering lack of educationwithin 500 characters, so I will simply ask, where is the peer-reviewed scientific study that demonstrates that cell phones disrupt microtubules?
September 23rd, 2008 at 6:36 pm
Just as expected, …
Just as expected, no substance and more errors like your name implies.
“When cells differentiate microtubules establish cell polarity and changes in cell morphology, they participate in the communication between cells by interacting with signaling molecules, and they are involved in cell migration during tissue formation”…Institute for Research in Biomedicine

Funny you should …
Funny you should say that, the things I “disagree” with him about are matters that can actually be found in a textbook. We’re talking basic cell-biology definitions.
For instance, you can try looking up “microtubules”, which actually have dick-all to do with electrical communication, much less “across the body”. His definition of gap junctions is slightly closer to reality, but the way he describes their relationship to microtubules is, again, gibberish.
Take a science class, dummy.
September 23rd, 2008 at 6:36 pm
Why dont you …
Why dont you actually say what he said that you disagree with? He is mostly talking textbook cell biology, specifically electrical communication between cells. Try again troll.

He claims to be an …
He claims to be an epidemiologist? There is absolutely no way this dingbat has any qualifications. Everything he said about biology was 100% gibberish. Heck, everything he says about EVERYTHING is gibberish, but if he’s claiming expertise in biology, he’s doing a piss-poor job of pretending.
Seems to be fooling at least a few dummies, though. Sad.

And yet, if I stub my toe while talking on a cellphone, I still feel it “instantaneously.”

you should take a biology class dipshit.

no, this isnt great info, anyone with a basic understand of how science and the world works can realize this makes no sense. NO SENSE. christ, this is like the Ron Paul equivalent in the science world, you people would believe anything.

I need to get out of this country. I’m sorry to say that America is going to suffer! The new era will be harder for smart people to come up in life, so if you have hope for something big do it now..! My advice…

Esiosan: I don’t …
Esiosan: I don’t know much about diabetes, but definitely certain [NOT all] types of tumor need a genetic predisposition to develop, otherwise they will not develop no matter what someone does.
Going back to the mobiles, I guess that nobody would like to gamble their health hoping to be “immune” to radiation. In other words, genetic factors can only explain the individual variability [e.g. time necessary do develop the desease, exposition, etc.] but cannot be used as an excuse.
September 23rd, 2008 at 6:36 pm
I don’t buy this …
I don’t buy this story about “predisposition” to disease. I’ve never heard of genetic diseases, if you parents have diabetes you may also get the disease? Well if you eat the same sugary foods as your parents you will get diabetes, no so called “predisposition” needed.

well hertzian waves …
well hertzian waves are bad,but tesla waves are safe.they can hold millions of horsepower in resonance over the earth, its also good for wireless systems like cellphones, but there would be only one or two towers for the whole world!look nikola tesla up, he worked with his technology and never got cancer or any debilitating problems, he made sure his system was safe for humans to use.also my fathers cell phone shuts down the hd tvs at the store when it rings, its crazzy how much power is radiated

Dont be an ignorant …
Dont be an ignorant ass. If he ends up getting sick because of this shit, you should feel deeply sadneded. If this stuff is real, than it means we’ve been lied too by the people who claimed what we invested in was safe. I would suspect he would cry if he ended up with a brain tumor, who wouldnt? Thats a very way to go. Dont be digusting, kphett. Have some compassion.
